🍓 Freeze-Dried Yogurt & Fruit Bites
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain or flavored yogurt (Greek works best)
- 1–2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or bananas work well)
- 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions
- Chop larger fruits (like strawberries or bananas) into small pieces.
- Mix fruit into yogurt (and add honey if desired).
- Line your freeze-dryer tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Spoon small dollops of the yogurt-fruit mixture onto the tray, like bite-sized drops.
- Pre-freeze the tray in your regular freezer for a few hours (helps speed up the process).
- Place in the freeze dryer and run a standard cycle until completely dry and crunchy.
✅ Store in a Mylar bag with an oxygen absorber for long-term storage, or in an airtight jar for everyday snacking.
