Freeze-Dried Yogurt & Fruit Bites Recipe

🍓 Freeze-Dried Yogurt & Fruit Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain or flavored yogurt (Greek works best)
  • 1–2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or bananas work well)
  • 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Chop larger fruits (like strawberries or bananas) into small pieces.
  2. Mix fruit into yogurt (and add honey if desired).
  3. Line your freeze-dryer tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  4. Spoon small dollops of the yogurt-fruit mixture onto the tray, like bite-sized drops.
  5. Pre-freeze the tray in your regular freezer for a few hours (helps speed up the process).
  6. Place in the freeze dryer and run a standard cycle until completely dry and crunchy.

✅ Store in a Mylar bag with an oxygen absorber for long-term storage, or in an airtight jar for everyday snacking.
